A Fun Valentine Banner!

Here`s what the boys and I have been up to lately, aside from baking.

I got the idea from Maya*Made, which is an awesome blog I just discovered a couple of days ago. I changed it a bit, though I think it might have looked better with white letters . . . oh well. We had a blast making it and the boys were super impressed that their hard work turned into a full banner!

Dante got bored after one heart (half, actually, I painted the other half) and decided on war paint. I let him because he needed a shower anyway.

Dorian hung in there for SIX hearts! Which is really 12 because they were doubles. And he did a better job on them than I did, his hearts are the ones that are properly painted and a darker red. He was super excited about the whole thing. When I got out the paint he screamed, “WE GET TO PAINT! WE GET TO PAINT!”

Maybe I should let them do it more often.

That is really cute! And it sounds pretty easy! Something we can probably do if we have time. Thanks for the idea.

That looks really, really good! Hey, it’ll work for Christmas too. =D Just do green snowflakes and then red letterings.

Trust you to look for creative ideas. I love you. I would have proposed to you but unfortunately you are taken. Haha.

LOL, Gloria! We would totally make a great couple, you with the food and cleaning, me with the crafts and more food. ha. And I have the feeling we`d never run out of stuff to talk about!

That looks really, really good! I am so stealing this one! My mom got me caught up on housework while she was staying with me, so I actually have time to be creative again! OH, you know what else would work? Felt hearts and fabric paint! We might do it that way. :D
