A Potty Training Conversation

Mama: “Hey, Dorian, look at these cool underwear!”

Dorian: “It`s red! And there`s a train!”

Mama: “Yeah, you want to try them on?”

Dorian: “Um, I think they get wet.”

Mama: “Well, that`s why you use the potty. If you pee in the potty, the train won`t get wet.”

Dorian (losing interest): “Uh, no, Mama. No use potty. I want diapers.”

Mama (getting desperate): “Well, fine. Maybe Dante will want to use these neat underwear.”

Dorian (heading out of the room): “Yup. Dante use the potty.”

Ha! What a smartie!!! I think my kids had ‘big kid’ pants for weeks, maybe even months, before they decided to use them. I put them in their chest of drawers and sometimes they would take them out and wear them, then put them back, on their own. When they’re ready, they’re ready! Good luck!

Sometimes I think he`s too darn smart for me! :P

Oh, and the banner thing? Turns out I was putting the right code in, I just didn`t DELETE another piece that I had to . . . Whoops. Anyway. Thanks for your patience!
