Before and After the Big Clean

I actually did this post before and Wordpress ate it, which is really annoying. For those of you who haven`t yet updated to 2.6 in Wordpress, I advise that you don`t! It messes stuff up, so it`s better to wait for a fix.
Ok, on to the pictures . . . most of you know that Irving and I were deep cleaning the house. Well, I got distracted by painting the bedroom and then we were all sick, but finally, we got it done. Here is the kitchen before (keeping in mind that we were sick!):
Our hutch before, (notice all the condiments and junk in the upper right):
And all the stuff Irving took off the TOP of the hutch and fridge:
Most of this was simply because we didn`t have space to put anything before. Then we got the new counter and just hadn`t gotten around to rearranging things until now. Anyway. Here`s the completed, reorganized kitchen:
The hutch now has craft supplies below and only dishes up above, I stored the condiments in a box under the sink. 
It`s so much more organized now! All we need now are some curtains.

Very nice!! I know it feels so good to get organized! I’m a SAHM now after ALWAYS being a full-time career holder. ALWAYS. My home life is totally disorganized from years of haphazard storing, moving, or worse, hiring someone else to organize. Slowly though, one closet or shelf at a time, it’s coming together, OUR way, and it is such an awesome feeling - CONGRATS!!
I had to check out your kitchen again. It’s so nice. I love the way you can see all the greenery outside the window. I love the colors. I keep thinking back to the picture i saw when the “kitchen” was outside. I hope you can find a moment to be alone and sit in your new kitchen with a cup of tea and reflect on how far you’ve come. That’s always nice.
Oh, you SO need a “before and after” picture. Especially with the old dirt floors!
