Boom and the Reds: Not Just For Kids!

Well, I´m writing a bit later than usual today since I had a few articles I had to get out on a deadline. Irving is leaving shortly to go to another music gig and won´t be back till tonight, so I thought I had better take advantage of the fact that he could keep the boys occupied.
While I was trying to get my articles done, Irving turned on the TV for Dorian. They were watching Boom and the Reds. I´m not sure if you have seen this show.
It is basically about this big giant . . . thing, I don´t know what Boom is supposed to be, and a whole pack of tiny mushroom people, the Reds. The Reds have red caps, so I guess that is why they are called the Reds!
Anyway, the Reds make shapes by standing in lines. They make part of the shape and Boom tries to guess what it is, he´s always wrong. Then the Reds laugh their heads off at him and another army of fungi runs to form another part of the picture, etc. It is kind of cute, I like the way the Reds run in packs.
Well, Irving discovered this show a few days ago and for some reason, he is completely mesmerized by it! Dorian can be down for a nap and Irving will sit and watch the Reds making fun of Boom! Is it just my husband or are all men really kids in adult bodies?
