Busy Busy Kitchen

I was bit by the baking bug this morning. Here`s a peek at what went on . . .

I couldn`t decide on whether to make bread, bagels, or pretzels, so in the end, I chose to make both bread AND bagels. Turns out that it`s really easy to make bagels . . . there`s just a lot of steps.

The boiling part intimidated me, the bagels got all soggy looking . . . but it turned out fine.

If you want to try making them, here`s the recipe.

Since I was multitasking, the bread and the bagels were rising at the same time:

Then while the bagels were baking, I got the lime bars in the oven. They turned out heavenly!

The bread was the last to be baked and let me tell you . . . it was worth the wait!

Dorian made his own little loaf, he even got the kneading process (squishing) down. :)

Is there anything better than melted butter on hot bread straight out of the oven? Not in my house!

Oh man I was hungry before I read this but not I’m even hungrier! I think I have to literally pick my tongue up off the floor now.
