Dante´s Blogging Debut

Dante has been tagged by Pristine from Sandier Pastures (also an expat kid!) to do a meme revealing 8 random things about himself. I´ll translate the drool language so everyone can understand. 
Hi, I´m Dante Luca, Dorian´s little brother, I´m a whole 8 months old! I can´t believe someone tagged me instead of my brother, I´m so excited! Mostly people ignore me ´cuz I´m the baby. Ok, here are 8 things about me.
1. I´m a water baby. I just love water. Baths are so much fun, I have no idea why Mama doesn´t give us one every day. Something about having to work and being too tired to deal with slippery bubs . . . anyway, I just love being in the water whenever I get a chance. Once I fell facefirst into the bath water, but I was a real big boy and kept my head up until Mama sat me up again. But even with that, I´m not scared of water at all, because I always have a bath with my brother and he fills up most of the tub, so I can´t fall.
2. My favorite person in the whole world is my big brother Dorian. He´s TWO! That´s really big. He brings me toys (he also takes them away and makes me cry) and he tries to share his cookies with me, but Mama won´t let him. Sometimes he slips me a little something when she´s not looking and I have to eat it fast, but somehow Mama always knows!
3. When my Mama has to work, I sometimes visit my Tia Diana and my abuela. They are really nice to me and hold me all the time. And they play with me when I´m there and give me fun things to taste. The only bad thing is that I can´t be with Mama, and they like to dress me up a lot, which is kinda annoying. But I let them, ´cuz I´m a nice kid.
4. A little while ago, I started to eat real food, instead of just milk. Milk is so boring, now I want what everyone else is having. Mostly they just give me squishy puree, but if it´s sweet, I´ll eat it. Not so impressed with the whole carrot and squash thing, though. Give me peaches and pears any day. If I can´t finish my food, Dorian is really nice and finishes it for me. Sometimes he even finishes it before I´m done, if I don´t eat fast!
5. I used to be really quiet, but then I noticed how Dorian got more attention ´cuz he yells. So I thought I´d try it and guess what? It works! So now I yell a lot and throw things, too, just to make sure people know I´m here.
6. I still sleep with my pacha (bottle). Mama says it´s a bad habit and that she´s going to wean me, but for now she just gives me water. I don´t mind, I just like something to suck on while I fall asleep. Even if it is a bad habit.
7. When my Papa is home, I love to sit on his lap because he lets me play with his phone. It plays music for me to dance. I can´t really stand up yet, but I dance by bouncing in one place . . . I even get my arms into it! Papa tickles me, too, and I like that. It makes me laugh so hard you can see all my teeth.
8. I have to be on the floor. If Mama puts me in my chair, my brother climbs on top of me and squishes me. At least I have a fighting chance if I´m on the floor. Besides, everything fun is down there, bread crumbs, Dorian´s spilled coffee, sticky spots and crayons to eat. Plus, I think I have a pretty good idea of how to get from one place to another. I´m just practicing now, but one of these days I´m gonna surprise everyone and just take off (I think I´ll wait till Dorian drops something really yummy on the floor).
Well, now you know all about me! I have to pick a few more kids to write about themselves, so I´m going to choose Grant from JustJessie, I-guy from Creative Kismet, King Bonkey from Over the Moon with Joy, and Brooklyn from Because I Said So. That´s only four, but I can´t really count and anyway, I don´t know any other little kids who haven´t been tagged yet!

Dante, you are quite the funny little guy! Your big blue eyes melt my heart in those pictures! Grant is very excited that you tagged him, and will play along very soon.
How cute!!! He does so many great things now, just wait till he’s almost three!! Thanks for tagging my I-guy. That is very sweet. Do you care if we do his post in February? That’s when his birthday is and this would be a great b-day post.

(I feel bad as I am falling so behind in posting things…I still haven’t posted your blog award (though I mean to), I owe you a note and someone tagged me for a ‘weird’ meme and someone else tagged me for…well, it seems as I am behind quite a bit now. King Meemer says we ‘ta hind. So I better get un-ta-hind or soon I am going to have BIG troubles. (can I blame it on having 6 kids and homeschooling?) didn’t think so
