Did I Say I Would Stop?

Posted on February 23, 2008 - Filed Under Mom Stuff, Personal |

Remember this post? Well, guess why I´ve vanished off the face of the Earth for the past few days? :P

As Irving says, “You always say you´re going to quit and then you see an article assignment and think “that could buy the tiles for the bathroom” so you take it anyway.” I suppose my family should be glad I´m addicted to working and not crack or something!

Seriously, though? I have GOT to figure out a better way to balance stuff. Yesterday, I took some time off to cook up the enormous amount of food I bought the other day and freeze it. Then today I spent the whole day writing to make up for that. Know how much I wrote today? With blogs and articles combined, around 11,800 words! If I did that for a week, I could have a book to sell and then just relax while it earned money for me! Which would be a better idea, but I´m sure I´d just pick up more assignments anyway. sigh.

Am I the only workaholic mom out there?

That idea book sounds pretty good…why not try it? =D

Not a mum yet, but understand your restlessness. =P I’m doing a demanding degree (double major), holding three jobs and is in a business society in Uni where I head one of the investment group. All in all, the amount of sleep I get per day if I’m lucky is 4 hours. I’m in good training for having 12 wailing kids, no?
