Jessie, I have someone else doing the laundry, remember? Totally helps that I’m not doing much housework! The new place is a rental which is near the school (like two meters away) and it is still not confirmed, so those plans are up in the air until we are sure we have the place. I’d love to buy a new place, but we don’t have that kind of money!

Wow, girl! You are amazing! I can barely get homeschooling and laundry done, and here you are taking on ANOTHER business venture! I do not know how you do it all!
Where will your new place be? Will you add on to your home or are you buying a new place to rent?

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Alexandra. We’ll be fine. I do earn enough, but things took a dip because I left off my work in December and part of November, since Irving had too much work and there was no one to watch the boys. Whoops!

WOW! At least you won’t be bored any time soon My husband is currently unemployed (thanks economy), so I know what you mean about the pressure of bringing home the bacon. In my case it’s no where near as bad since we don’t have kids yet, but it’s still a little scary. From reading your blog, you seem like the kind of person that can take this all in stride and will come out victorious

Petra, I’ll definitely be talking a lot about homeschooling in the future since we are now fully immersed in that. I’ve read that Germany is particularly difficult for those wanting to teach their kids at home. Scary stuff! Though it was actually illegal in Canada when my parents started teaching me! Luckily they legalized it a few years later.

Genesis, you busy bee! I have no doubt that you guys will get by fine and cross my fingers for Irving’s new project. Will be interesting to learn more about your homeschooling. It’s forbidden here, in fact, this week the first german family got granted asylum in the states because they weren’t allowed to school their kids themselves.

Leiani, actually, this blog is my time out. When I need a little me time, I often write here, so it’s not an inconvenience at all! I do have little more difficulty with keeping up on Gourmet Mama and At Home Mom because they are more business oriented, but still, it’s something I enjoy. That really helps!

I would suggest not pressuring yourself if you start a blog. Do one or two posts a week. There’s nothing saying you have to write a novel, either . . . even a couple of paragraphs is fine! Start slow and work up if you want.
