Family Portraits

Dorian got a little distracted during school today and turned out four family portraits.

L-R Top: Papa, Mama
Bottom: Dorian, Dante

He then decided the artist should be included in the shot with his work.

And then we went back to school. Dorian insisted on doing three reading lessons today. “I need more words, Mama!” He said. It seemed to finally click today, he was reading his new words off faster and faster and was SO excited that he was able to do it and do it well. :)

So now you´re really in trouble! where are you going to get enough books to satisfy Dorian, now that he learned the pleasures of reading???

Maybe you should encourage him to write and illustrate some books?

We might stick to dictating books right now, Monk, he is still behind in fine motor skills. :) I’ve been collecting books that kind readers have brought us, as well as children’s books that I’ve found over the years. That should tide him over for a bit. I think we’ll be bringing back our weight limit in books from Canada, as well, since my mother has saved all our childhood books and I’m the only one to have kids or any interest in them.
