Food Conversations

We got some sample packs of strawberry soy milk the other day with Dorian´s regular soy milk and so I tried making him a bottle (pacha) with it.

Dorian: “Mama, my pacha is blue.”

Me: “You mean pink?”

Dorian: “It´s pink.”

Me: “Don´t you like it?”

Dorian: “No. It´s really yucky. New one?”

Dorian loves mayonnaise, but not tomatoes, so I gave him some mayo and tomato slices and showed him how to dip them for eating.

Me: “mmm, these are DELICIOUS.”

Dorian: “Mmmm, delicious.”

Dorian: “Hey. It´s GOOD. I really like this!”

I recently bought a new kind of granola that has yogurt chips in it.

Me: “Want granola?”

Dorian: “Granoa, si!”

As he started picking out the chips: “HEY! There´s CANDY in my cereal!” He yelled this every time he found a yogurt chip! :)

I just love how excited they get over everything. I winder if he’ll get just as excited next time he finds “candy” in his granola?

I find it amazing how parents resort to sly tactics like the tomatoe and mayo… Cool!

Mind you, my mum, ex-wife (and family), L and her family have ALL tried (and failed to I might add) to get me to eat vegetables… And still they try…

Have a great ‘visitor’ to show the boys as well posted at the moment…

Hope that you are having a great Easter Weekend from all of us here!
