Gloria tagged me for this fun book meme.
1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open it at page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence/phrase.
4. Blog the next four sentences/phrases together with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig your shelves for that very special or intellectual book.

Ok, well, the closest book to me at the moment is Hurry Up, Franklin. However, since Franklin books don´t go to page 123, I´m going to grab the nearest one after that . . . Night Sins by Tami Hoag.
“He gave me the creeps,” she said sheepishly, scowling at her banana as she peeled back the skin. She took a bite and chewed, regrouping mentally. Olie Swain still gave her the creeps. Unfortunately, that was not considered probably cause for running someone in and taking their fingerprints.

I like this meme because then I visit everyone, and write down the books they read so that I can read it too. Fun fun fun!
Ok, so the nearest ‘book’ that I have here (at work) is the proceedings of the 14th Australian Weed Conference. As boring as it is, but there are a lot of good papers there, I will not use it (it is a paper on “Agro-approaches to managing weeds in wet direct-seeded rice” by the Phillipine Rice Institute…
So, I will grab the first book I see when I get home in about 7 hours from now…
