Getting The Pre-Pre-Baby Body

My sister and I are having a contest to see who will have the hottest bod by the time she comes down to visit in December. She has a slight advantage in that she is younger than me, single and has not popped out two kids in the past year and a half!

Since my pre-Dante body was actually a slightly post-Dorian body, I´m not going for my pre-baby look. In fact, I´m not even going for pre-Dorian because I was still pudgy back then! I´m going pre-pre-baby!

According to everything I have read, my ideal weight should be about 120. I´m about 40 lbs. over that, so I have some work to do! However, we have decided that the contest is not about how thin we are, but how good we look, how fit.

If Irving actually does leave the school at the end of July, I´m signing up for the gym in Antigua. There is no gym in San Juan, where I live, so I plan to walk/jog/run to Antigua (about 2 miles away) and do my workouts for an hour, then catch the bus back.

Before you think that I´m awfully ambitious to run 2 miles several times a week, I have to admit that I live on the side of a volcano, so really, I´ll be running downhill. Not that much of an effort. Maybe someday I´ll be able to run back home after my workout! That would be saying something!

Ok, here´s the plan:
- Start eating right. We are already working on that one.
- Take the boys out for a walk every day, just carrying Dante and chasing Dorian will be enough to take off 20 lbs!
- Join the gym when I can
- Slim down my butt
- Get rid of the post-two-babies belly fat
- Tone my legs and arms
- Get nice shoulders, but not bodybuilder ones (I build muscle fast, like a guy, for some weird reason, so I have to be careful).
- Firm up the breasts, they are already drooping and I haven´t even hit 30!

So, when I find the battery charger that my beloved husband lost, I will charge some batteries, take a picture of my Before body and then post monthly updates. That ought to keep me motivated!

    Sounds like some great goals! Make sure you do take those pictures. It’s a great motivator when you can actually see the results! And- take measurements since a lot of times you lose inches even when the pounds are not coming off!

    That is a GREAT motivator! I will be cheering for you. Cool that you live on the side of a volcano. I live more than a mile above sea level on a mountain, but unfortunately for me, there is no bus to take me back up if I walk down. I have to do with my own two feet dragging two toddlers behind me (or pushing them in front of me). I look forward to reading about your progress!
