Hacked

Posted on January 26, 2008 - Filed Under Personal |

This morning, my husband was checking out a domain that I bought for his band, but hadn´t really done much with and he said, “Hey, did you do this?” When I looked, there was a forum set up on the domain, MY domain. I registered and checked it out and some 19 year old hacker has taken over my domain and set up a forum that gives out info on where to illegally download stuff! I am so mad!

Now, I haven´t done anything with this domain for a while, so it turns out this kid has been using it for a month now. I immediately began checking my other dormant domains and discovered that the same guy is on another one of mine! Scary stuff. So far, my blogs are ok, but I have to say that with the computers crashing and now this, I´m getting a bit tired of complications.

I´ve emailed my hosting company and am waiting to hear back from them as to what I ought to do. Truthfully, I want to go find the little jerk and teach him a lesson, but since I have no idea where he is, that might be a bit tough. :( I´m just so mad and worried that someone can hack my blogs and other websites, too!

Jez… lil mongrel!! I think you should be able to track him, just ask your hosting people to ping the history of log-ins, and they should be able to give you his IP address, providor and country etc… You might even be able to email him and let him know your onto him as well!

    Scary stuff indeed…

What did he do that for?? So irritating. I hope you’ll find your solution to the problem and track that guy down!!
