Happy Earth Day!

Today is Earth Day. Something that could really be promoted here in Guatemala, since it´s quite common to just toss your garbage anywhere. I even saw a sign on a chicken bus once that said, “Please keep the bus clean, throw your garbage out the window.” :S
What are you doing for Earth Day? What do you do on a daily basis to be green?
We could definitely be better in that department, but I do a few things like recycle printed paper (the boys draw on the back), turn off lights that aren´t needed and attempt to compost veggie peels, etc. It´s really not much, when I think about it, but once the house is done, I´d really like to look into getting solar panels.

Earth Day??? For us here in Australia, it was actually yesterday, and I am ashamed to say, that it went un-noticed!
Having said that, I did do my little bit… I did not drive my car to work yesterday (I actually was at home) and we enjoyed a day of rain to clean the air… I cooked L dinner, which actually saved the atmospher additional carbon being emmitted (she would have burnt it
