I Love Cake!

That´s the beauty that we enjoyed for my birthday. And the next morning for breakfast . . . I know, I´m such a bad mom . . . but could YOU resist making your child THIS happy?
We had eaten all but a little sliver of cake by the night after my birthday (don´t worry, the inlaws helped!), and I was out washing bottles. I came inside and heard, “mmm, mmm, yum, mmm!”
The fridge door was ajar and when I peeked in, there was Dorian, enjoying the last bit of cake in the fridge! Here´s what happened when he polished it off . . .

What a cake! That looks awesome.
And I see nothing wrong with cake for breakfast if it produces a smile like that! The problem for my guys would be the post-sugar-rush CRASH that would come later!
the cake looks lovely. Dorian seems to like it to very last bite.
