Irving Gets Famous

Irving is in a band here in Guatemala called Banda Vega and they have been getting pretty big here. Way back in February, Irving was inspired by my blogging to start his very own blog, Banda Vega. Then he lost interest and went on to other projects.
More recently, people have been commenting to him on his blog, so he decided to take a look again. And discovered that he´s quite popular! In fact, on the Guatemala Google, if you look for Banda Vega, his blog comes up first in the results, ahead of the actual band website!
He´s pretty excited, but he´s also getting several comments about how he ought to update more because people want to know where the band is going to be playing. He´s also had several phone calls and emails from people wanting to hire the band for parties or private events!
So, YAY Irving! Way to go. Now, if I can just get the boys blogging, we´ll have the whole family going!

Hey, that’s awesome. Congrats, Irving. I love how you are both following your creative passion, and being successful at it.
How cool is that…tell Irving way to go. As far as the boys blogging…maybe next year, they are still a bit wee.
