Is This Supposed to Make Sense?

Men and women are different species. The conversation I just had with Irving confirms it.
Me: “After all that downloading, my movie doesn’t work!”
Irving: “What does it say?”
Me: “Nothing. It says nothing, it just doesn’t work.”
Irving: “It has to say something. Let me see.”
Me: “It doesn’t play at all. I don’t think it downloaded properly.”
Irving: “I saw that it had a point.”
Me: “???”
Irving: “Yeah.”
Me: “Point, what point?”
Irving: staring at the list of files.
Me: “WHAT POINT? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?”
Irving: “Point JPEG, Point MPG”
Me: “Huh?”
Irving: “Nevermind. I’m going to watch YouTube.”
Me: “Fine. I’m deleting this.”
Irving: “What? Why are you deleting it?”
I have no clue what just happened.

Talk to Me, People!

Sounds like a conversation between me and my sweet wife LOL
XX-XY, they are different at the most basic level. I love my XX more than life it self but boy is she different…
point=dot?
(.jpg?)
They speak a different language, that’s for sure!
Yes, you’re right, Adina, it would be dot.
Since we had the conversation in Spanish, I just translated and was a bit too literal.
I was trying to upload movies on you tube yesterday and it kept crashing on me. I was cussing at it and my hubby wanted to know what specific error I was getting (because he’s a geek and uses linux and does not use a lot of ready made UI tools like I do). I told him twice it said ‘error’ – and only ‘error’ – but he still had to come look.
He wants stuff that gives him specific answers to his queries and doesn’t react well to tools that do not do as he demands! o well…
Lol! I think it really is a difference in communications . . . another guy would be all specific and automatically get what our husbands were asking.
