Last Minute Eco Gifts and Winnings

The other day, I was bopping through the blogosphere and came across a review of a really neat notebook that`s made out of recycled T-shirts. So I left a comment. A day or two later, I got an email saying I had won a contest and I almost deleted it, thinking that it was one of those scam emails, but I did open it and recognized the blog name, Eco-Office Gals.
So, I wrote back, saying that I hadn`t meant to enter a contest and that I lived in Guatemala so I didn`t know if I was eligible. Well, the company said they would send me my free notebook and man, am I glad they did!
This is the notebook that I won. It showed up in a WEEK! That`s really, really fast considering it came all the way to Guatemala!
There are several different designs and I was surprised at how cool it looked in real life. The notebook is just the right size to tuck into a backpack or something and the paper is super soft, with an almost handmade look and . . . it has sparkles! Little bitty sparkles throughout the paper, which is a really cute touch!
There are tons of other things for eco-concious people over at 90210 Organics that would make some amazing gifts if you are still looking. And I can vouch for the rapid service!
