November First Photos

So, yesterday was the famous All Saints Day. We headed out around noon with the boys, but first I had my sister-in-law take this photo of all of us together as a family. I´m the only one who was interested in the photo, but anyway.

After the photo, we went to the store to buy a cheap kite for Dorian. He didn´t fly it, Irving did and basically we spent a lot of time just carrying the darn thing around while Dorian raced all over the place yelling “Cars! Look! CARS!” Anyone would think we keep him locked up in a dark room or something and that this was the first time he´d every seen vehicles in real life!
Anyway, here´s Irving carrying Dorian and the kite. Keep in mind that the poor guy had been out working all night before and was exhausted!

We ate some churrascos outside the graveyard (that´s roasted meat and tortillas with salsa) and had a couple of beers before heading in to visit Irving´s family. This is them. His aunt, his paternal grandparents and I think an uncle are in this tomb.

The graveyard was very pretty. Dorian was thrilled and spent half the time running between graves and getting dirty.

After a bit of being extremely grumpy, Dante fell asleep. He likes being in the suti because he can look around, but he was really not into sleeping there!

We bought a bag of peanuts and sat just inside the entrance of the graveyard to eat and greet everyone who came by. Dorian tried his first peanuts and loved them, but he was absolutely convinced that we were missing peanuts and kept digging out the shells to double check! Then he grabbed his kite and tried to fly it.

We then headed home and had some fiambre and Irving and the boys relaxed while I slaved away on the computer . . . not. I played some Morrowind before I slaved.
