Photos of the Head Injury

I didn´t actually take any pictures during the event because I was . . . well, trying to stop the gush of blood, truthfully. I have to admit, it did cross my mind to get Irving to snap a picture . . . but then it seems a little rude to my poor injured kid. So I smothered my blogger mom impulses and waited until he was calm again to snap one.

That isn´t blood around his mouth, either by the way, it´s just dye from a nasty lolli that Irving bought him.
If you don´t like slightly gross pictures, don´t scroll down because the next one is from today, when I took his bandaid off. No one bothered telling me that kids with darker skin really show up the bandaid mark! I had no idea it would be so obvious. An hour later and it´s still there . . . do you think he actually tanned more this morning with the thing on? Cuz he looks pretty white where it was covering. Well, now I know for the future.

He´s doing fine today and is quite happy and playing like normal, so I guess it didn´t do any permanent damage. Yay!

So glad to see your little guy is doing better. Surely that mark will go away. Head wounds do bleed more and they also swell quickly. He has a great smile - btw!
Yikes! He’s a cutie. Our own kids’ blood has got to be the worst!
Are you sure that the band aid did not simply just pull off the years of built up dirt
lol
Seriousl, when I first saw the second pic, I thought that was blood, but I am glad that you resisted the urge to get him fixed up then take a shot…
Ouch that looks like it hurt. I can’t stop laughing at the bandaid mark…it really does show up! He’s absolutely adorable and that grin of his made me grin from ear to ear.

Heh, I had another photo of Dorian with the lolli in his mouth, but he looked really spaced out . . . it was a lousy photo!
