Photos of the New House

Ok, here they are, photos of our nearly finished home!
First up, the tile floor. These tiles look great, though the picture didn´t turn out very well. I had to fix the color in Photoshop, but this is pretty close to it.
Here´s my new kitchen. Obviously, it still needs some work. I want to put in counters and we are still waiting for a kitchen table, but it´s functional and indoors, which makes me very happy! 
Here is a shot from the kitchen, looking at the living room end. To the left are the doors for our room and Dorian´s room, to the right is a huge window overlooking our yard and the front door.
This is our new mini sofa, under the living room window. Dorian loves having furniture to climb up on! As you can see, he has discovered the joys of cold fruit from the fridge.
The armchairs that came with the sofa set (which was on sale, as it was a display set).
And, one last photo from the front of the house. The inside was the priority, and now I want a bathroom, so it will be a while before that ugly cement block gets covered up, but that´s ok. Now that I have a kitchen and living room, the front of the house doesn´t bother me at all. Plus, we´re at the back of the property, no one just walks in, so it´s not like many people will be seeing it.

Oh Genesis, I love your new kitchen. The floor tiles look beautiful! Your living room looks very cozy…love the green (we have two similar green chairs in our living room!)

Your house is coming together really nicely. Love the tile, and from the before photos of your kitchen, I didn’t even recognize it at all. Wow!

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe the difference! I’m so happy for you! I bet you’re cooking a LOT more now, huh?
Oh, and for what it’s worth, I don’t think the color of the hutch is bad at all. Sure, we girls like white painted furniture better, but think how much easier that brown will be to keep looking clean! I have white painted cabinets, and I have to wipe them down twice a day if I want them looking good.
BTW, did I tell you how much I love the color of your walls? Very nice!
I absolutely love the tile and the wall color is great too. You guys did a great job.
Thanks, all. I like the wall color, too. We were going to get a really nice one called Marigold, but it was 200 quetzales a gallon (about $25), so we went with a generic brand, Mango, for about a fifth the price and guess what? It turned out to be the same color!
As for cooking, we are eating very well these days.
It’s coming together very nicely. I LOVE that tile floor! I’d like to be able to do my whole house in that!
