Rabbit Went Home

And unfortunately, not the home we hoped he would go to. 
No, I`m afraid he was sent to a more celestial one by the dog next door, though we have no proof positive. I did hear some nasty noises from that direction the night he vanished, though.
Dorian was rather sad, he insisted on putting food out for Rabbit anyway. And burst into tears when another big cat came and ate it. He yelled, “GO AWAY! That`s not yours. That`s Rabbit`s food.” We told him Rabbit went to visit his mama, which is probably where he was trying to go when he was waylaid.
We did enjoy having the little fellow for the few short days he was here, though and we miss him already. Even Irving is ready to get another cat. GASP. I think we`ll wait until we can build a wall to keep kittens in though.
RIP Rabbit.

Aw, that’s so sad! Grant still talks about when Copper comes home. They get so attached so quickly.
