Sickies

It all began with me. Then it moved to Dante, then Dorian and Irving is still holding out.
We are moving into the second week of this cold and it ain´t pretty! The first few days were annoying, but nothing too bad, drippy noses mostly. But now we have fevers, stuffy noses, sore throats and the worst of all . . . coughs. Well, I guess I should say that I have a cough since the boys maybe cough a couple times a day.
For some bizarre reason, I seem to have taken the brunt of this particular virus and have been hacking up a lung for the past two days. And nights. And coughing at night is not good when your baby sleeps beside you! Both boys are sleeping poorly anyway because they don´t feel good.
Nothing seems to work on this cough, so I´m just waiting it out. But though I really just want to curl up in bed for a month, Mommy duty calls. Irving has several gigs this week and has to leave mid-day and doesn´t get back until around 3-6 am. It´s a good thing he isn´t down yet!
Plus, I´m about to launch my new wahm business directory, so there is quite a bit of work there, and of course, Christmas is looming. We just heard that there are Tonka trucks in a store in the capital, so guess what Dorian is getting for Christmas?
He´s broken every plastic car he´s ever owned and it´s hard to find metal ones here, so a Tonka ought to be just the thing for destroying the dirt pile out front, don´t you think?

Poor you! It’s so hard to be sick when you are everything to everyone in your house! I hope you are better soon.
I think D will have a BLAST in the dirt with a Tonka truck! I foresee lots of dirt covered Dorian pictures!
