Some People Are Just Too Generous!

I just got back from Antigua where we met up with a woman who is adopting a beautiful baby girl from here. This woman and I started talking a week ago, when our kids started playing together (she also has a 5 year old son), and she told me that she was leaving soon.

She said that she had a bunch of things that wouldn´t be going home with them, so would I like them? I said sure, but didn´t think she would actually go through with it.

Imagine my surprise when she called me yesterday to see if I wanted to meet up and get the stuff! So we spent a couple of hours talking in the park today while the kids played ball, then she loaded me up with goodies!

It was a good thing Irving came with me, I never would have managed on my own! This amazing lady gave us a bike and a scooter for Dorian (which he will have to grow into!), a bag full of toys and clothes and a couple of really nice blankets for Dante, and a bouncy seat. The bouncy seat is pink with flowers, but Dante couldn´t care less! :D

I had been wanting to get a bouncy chair anyway because Dante is at the stage where he wants to be up and looking at stuff now. However, they are pretty expensive down here, so it was really nice that she gave it to us.

I´m completely amazed at the generosity of people like this. She could have easily taken the toys and things back with her on the plane and the seat can be folded down, but she was so sweet and gave these things to us. It was VERY much appreciated!
