The Amazing Plastic . . . Thingamajig

It´s amazing what kids´ imaginations can come up with. Today Irving bought a pair of headphones so he can listen his music on his computer without bugging me while I try to work. They came in one of those funky bubble blisters . . . you know, the ones that rip your hands to shreds when you try to open them. Dorian was fascinated with this plastic bubble and proceeded to put it to use.

Here, he has magically converted into Dorian Buzz Lightyear!

Here, you see the Buzz Lightyear helmet has become a very handy rainproof hat.

Hey, this thing is handy! It works as a cup, too!

Last, but not least, the handy plastic thing becomes a diver´s mask for a little boy who´s headed for an undersea adventure.
Please ignore the ketchup stains on Dorian´s shirt. I swear, my kids never do anything cute until they are nice and dirty. They really are clean sometimes, really!

That’s awesome! I love how they will play for hours with something we see as trash. Like people always say on Christmas and birthdays, they like the box as much as the toy that came in it.
It is almost the same with our cat! We have bought her that many ‘treat’ type things, and she wont touch it. Yet, give her a box and she will play for hours!
I see that the boys are very similar! Very cute pics though, love ‘em!
