Very Late Easter Photos

Ok, I´ve had a lot of computer issues in the past few days, which meant that I was on another computer, which didn´t have Photoshop. But, I´m back now and can finally share some yummy Easter pics!

Dorian and I made some mini bunny cookies from our bento bunny rice mold and I dipped some in chocolate to make them extra yummy.

Bunny cookies

You know those yummy Cadbury eggs that ONLY come out at Easter? Well, there´s nothing like that down here, so I made my own, using this simple recipe. They turned out so well that the first batch never even made it to dipping. So I had to do another bunch and I made double this time around. They didn´t look that pretty from the outside, but they tasted heavenly! I had to keep freezing them though, this isn´t the ideal recipe for tropical countries! Here is one cut while frozen. At room temp, they turn all gooey like the real thing.

Creme eggs

I also made a couple dozen boiled eggs that we dyed and the boys thought they were super cool, but Dorian refuses to eat any of them. Dante, on the other hand, just found two eggs and proceeded to peel them and eat them!

The boys enjoyed the egg hunt. Dorian mostly. I actually ended up hiding the eggs twice because he had so much fun finding them! Our Easter was pretty laid back and it was fun to include some Canadian customs into the mix.

    Oh fun, fun, fun! Those cookies are adorable. I would be in a sugar coma right now if I made the recipe for cadbury eggs! They look awesome.

    Genesis;

    You are so creative…the eggs are beautiful, but really your heart is just so beautiful…I love that you hid them twice for your boys. Big hugs!
