We Have a Solution!

I think we`ve found the way to help Dante deal with being apart from his papa!

Tonight, Irving went out just for a little while and Dante was heartbroken, screaming, kicking on the floor, the whole nine yards. I was getting stuff ready for bed and suddenly I heard him yell, “PAPA!”
Turning around, I saw my little guy had scrambled up onto my chair and was eagerly staring at the computer screen. I was logged into Facebook and Irving`s tiny icon was on the right hand side, under my Friends list. So I clicked and went to his profile where he could see his Papa`s picture properly.
Well, Dante sat there in the chair, babbling away in his toddler language to his papa and even Dorian joined in, saying “Hi, Papa!” and finally, I had them say goodnight to Papa and trundled them off to bed . . . NO PROBLEM!
Tomorrow morning, I`m making Irving do a little video for the boys and I`m just going to play that for them every night of him saying goodnight to them. Fingers crossed!

Talk to Me, People!

HOORAY for technology!!!
Oh, that’s great! I’ve been worried about you. I know how hard it can be when they’re just too small to understand that they can’t have who they want. I think the video is a fantastic idea. You should have him read them a bedtime story.
That picture is adorable, btw.
We`re just about to do the video. Irving doesn`t actually read stories to the boys . . . all our books are in English and they get quite annoyed with his accent in English, lol.
