We´ve Got Running Water . . . INSIDE!

This morning, our water was hooked up to the sink. I was looking forward to having running water and hadn´t really used the new counter until the sink was ready. Well, it is. And I have discovered so much! (please bear with me, I haven´t had indoor running water in nearly 5 years!)
- It´s SO easy to wash dishes under running water! And I don´t have to stand in the rain!
- I can roll sticky biscuit dough out on the counter and it cleans up like nobody´s business.
- It´s way easier to clean the counter, stove, etc. when the water is right at your elbow and you don´t have to trek outside to get a bowl of water.
- My floors are so much cleaner because we don´t have to go outside every time we need to wash our hands or something.
- Dorian is asking to wash his hands in the “waterfall” every few minutes!
In short, I´m really, really happy!

5 years without running water? That is just amazing. I don’t know if I would have survived that!
Well, we had running water at the in-laws, but never for us.
