Whoops, There Goes February

Did you know that Sunday is Valentine’s Day? I’m sure you do, despite the fact that Bernie sent me a gorgeous calendar which is hanging on my wall, I still thought it was early in the month. Ahem.
I know time speeds up as you get older, but this is ridiculous! I blinked and it went from Jan. 1st to Feb. 15th! Well, almost, I have two days left. I didn’t post a SINGLE V-Day recipe to Gourmet Mama. Because I was so lost in time. sigh.
To make matters worse, of course, is the fact that Feb. is shorter than any other month. And it’s chock full of . . . stuff.
14th – V-Day
15th – My dad’s and Vardin’s birthdays
25th – Irving’s birthday
26th – Our 8th anniversary (gak, eight years already!!!!)
and this year . . .
28th – birthday party for two little friends (in the capital, no less, we’ll see if our car actually makes it that far)
Add to that my wonderful Mom Day every week, where I meet up with several other moms for lunch (a much needed break each week, let me tell you!) and twice a week Zumba classes (starting next Tuesday) and time speeds up even more.
