Whoops

So yesterday, I decided to catch up on my sleep while Irving was here . . . just a little nap to feel more alert and all.
My little nap turned into six hours of snoring away. I have NO idea why Irving didn`t wake me up earlier. Maybe he`s tired of my moods, too.
Anyway, I felt pretty good when I woke up. I made dinner for the boys, Irving headed off to work and then the kids and I read stories and played for a while before bedtime. It was all good. They headed to bed and, since I was taking yesterday off anyway, I decided to continue being a lazy bones and just watch NCIS. After about three episodes, I switched to Prison Break because I`m addicted to the show, but trying to ration it out since I`m already halfway through the third season and it`s a short one, as is the fourth.
So, I finally decided around midnight that I ought to go to bed, even though I wasn`t that tired, knowing that the boys would be up in a few hours.
I didn`t.
Instead, I got back on the computer and started working on a website for my freelance writing. And didn`t go to bed until just after 3. It took me a while to get to sleep, so I`m guessing I actually fell asleep around 3:30, then woke up again when Irving came in half an hour later. And finally, got up again at 5 am when Dante decided it was time to rise and shine.
So now I`ve totally messed up my sleep schedule just by taking one (very long) nap. Oops.

Talk to Me, People!

happend to me as well this past friday, bummer
It must be something in the air, that’s the schedule I’ve been on lately.
Sometimes you just need the sleep and should just give in to it… altho you should have forced yourself to go to bed before morning too, but I’m not condemning… I’ve been there!
Oh, but you needed it so it’s all good. It’s not everyday you get to sleep 6 hours straight too. Irving probably didn’t wake you up so he could have his Daddy time with the kids. ;D
I’ve done that before too (well not for 6 hours though! lol). The longest ‘nap’ I’ve taken turned into a 3 hour sleeping spree.
Isn’t it funny how all it takes is just one thing to throw our sleeping schedule all out of whack?
