Wow, Home Hero Works

A while back, I received a couple of HomeHero Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors, one to review and one to give away. Well, we put ours in Dorian`s room since the kitchen is pretty smoky sometimes.
Tonight, both boys are down with colds and have stuffy noses. They usually have fans on to help block out the sound and give some white noise, but it was cool air and definitely not helping matters, so we turned on the warm setting on Dorian`s fan, which is also a heater.
A couple of minutes later, the smoke alarm went off and a voice began to instruct us to leave the area immediately, in English and in Spanish. For some reason, the heater was burning something . . . we aren`t sure what. The whole room smelled burnt . . . but there was no actual smoke.
We turned the fan off and left it at that. But I`m SO impressed with this smoke detector. It detects before the fire even starts! Very cool! They`re available at Home Depot if you want one . . . or two.
