YouTube: A Waste of Time . . . but a FUN Waste of Time!

I have to admit that I hardly ever go on YouTube, except to check Supernatural fan vids for one of my Squidoo lenses, but there are times when it just sucks me in. There are dozens of cool music videos on there, but here’s one that Irving and I found the other day. It’s a music video that used to play here on the Sony Channel between shows and it was our favorite for years. We were really pleased to find it again!
And, while watching Supernatural the other day (yes, another reference to my favorite show. 
), one of the characters said to the other, “Welcome back, Kotter.” Irving didn’t understand the reference, so I pulled up some videos and we ended up spending TWO HOURS watching old Welcome Back, Kotter videos and laughing ourselves silly. Even though I had to translate sections, it was still a blast.
And somehow that got us on the topic of meditation and the whole “ooooohmmmmmm” thing . . . which reminded me of a movie I watched when I was very tiny and apparently afterwards went around saying “ooohmmmmmmm” all the time. See if you remember this one:

My net is so bad I hardly mess with youtube these days.. .I do like being able to browse randomly though. You never know what you’ll find!
I usually have to wait til the video loads, which drives me nuts, so I know what you mean, but on a good evening, when I have a great signal, I can watch them fairly quickly.
Aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Loved the Dark Crystal! That and the Secret of Nimh were staples at my house. I had totally forgotten about that movie!
